Research assistant at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies (ISTC), National Reserch Council (CNR), Rome. He has got a master degree in Electronic Engineer at University of Catania and now he is PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome.
He is currently involved in a FP7 project, ROSSI(Emergence of communication in RObots through Sensorimotor and Social Interaction) and also in a recent started FP7 project, IM-CLeVeR (Intrisically Motivated Cumulative Learning Versatile Robots). His research interests include developmental robotics, computational neuroscience, neural dynamic networks, hierarchies of actions, reinforcement and hebbian learning.
